Major Health Alert Issued in Dublin Following Detection of Infectious Disease Case

Public health authorities in Dublin have issued a major health alert following the confirmation of a case of new influenza in the city. The confirmation, released earlier today, has triggered a series of protocols designed to contain the spread of the disease and protect the broader community.

  • Staying home if you are feeling unwell.

  • Wearing a face mask in public spaces, if recommended by authorities



The HSE Dublin Health Executive is working closely with medical professionals across the city to ensure that rapid testing and treatment are readily accessible. Designated testing centers are being established and additional resources are being deployed to meet the potential surge in demand.
